1968 - the year Paris-Roubaix regained its bite. The Arenberg ’68 range celebrates Rouabix’s toughest stretch of pavé, an old, crumbling mining track that runs straight as an arrow through the dark, dank Arenberg Forest. The Arenberg Trench was introduced in 1968 to make the race harder, and remains it most viciously thrilling secteur to this day.
Our sweatshirt features our unique Arenberg ’68 logo, which subtly references the arrow-straight trench road through the Arenberg forest, and the cobblestone trophy that awaits the victor. The premium quality sweat has a woven chest patch.
The choice of fabric for our sweats is part of a long process. First, we touch. Is it the softness and the style we want? Secondly, we feel. Is it nice and comfortable to wear? Thirdly, we pay close attention to detail. Does it have top notch stitching? Finally we look. Is the cut right?
We also analyse, is it sustainable? We only choose fabrics made from sustainable material, such as organic cotton because it uses less energy and less water, resulting in less waste.
The factory your garment is made in is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation and a part of the Fashion Revolution movement (www.fashionrevolution.com). We believe workers deserve to be treated with respect and that we have a responsibility to provide you with goods that are made with thought for the community it was made in. No brainer really.
